Position Summary:
Reporting to the President of Company, the Vice President of Sales will be expected to be intimately involved in all strategic and tactical aspects of Company’s Dental business.
Primary focus will be sales growth in the dental business with tight margins emphasis placed on:
 Increasing sales and driving utilization of the Company products

 Expanding the dental sales through existing and new partnerships.

This position is home based.

Responsibilities and Account-abilities:
You will be carrying a bag and managing 10 sales reps.
Drive and be fully responsible for maximizing all opportunities to grow and develop the market share of the Company products.
Partner with the Vice President of Marketing to develop a marketing strategy and plan to effectively communicate to customers.
 Ensuring successful implementation of activities of the dental team promotes continuing operations, maximize profit.

Attain business objectives through achievement of budgeted results; participate in future planning and budgeting, constantly control and optimal use of company resources.
 Develop and manage strategic relationships with customers and business partners.
 Confer with functional team members to coordinate activities and resolve problem.
Motivate a dental team that is hard-working, collaborative, hands-on and focused results.
 
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
 Bachelor’s degree in business advanced degree, MBA preferred
 Minimum of ten years progressive dental sales successful experience track record.
Traditional Sales Training
 Solid sales management experience required understanding metrics and motivation.
 Direct experience and hands on knowledge in the dental market and dental laboratory setting. With total sales in excess of $50M.
Solid executive presence and possess a strong combination of technical aptitude and business acumen
Polished presentation skills, both written and verbal. Able to report to a board of Directors.
Well-grounded with solid common sense and a direct approach. Can deal with a broad range of people, backgrounds and skill sets.

Strong ethics and values with impeccable integrity and confidentiality
Proven results developing and managing a budget with the ability to control cost
 Able to travel approximately 60% of time home based.
