POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager develops and executes all brand management and marketing communications programs for North America. Supervises Digital Marketing Specialist.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develop and implement thought leadership strategies to influence perception across various segments including direct and distribution channels.
  • Develop and implement various tactical marketing communications programs for new and current products.
  • Conducts extensive copywriting of various marketing communications efforts including thought leadership, e-mail campaigns, product/landing pages, sales collateral, advertisements, press releases, blogs and sales communications.
  • Promotes special offers to external audiences leveraging various marketing programs including advertising, e-mail campaigns, direct mail, statement/package stuffers, PR and social media.
  • Supervises Trade Show & Events Manager and manages all aspects of event logistics including graphic identity, education event marketing and registrations, install and dismantle, freight/drayage, and sales goals.
  • Supervises Digital Marketing Specialist and manages digital marketing programs including SEM/SEO, social media, banner advertising and other efforts.
  • Manages vendors and consultants including freelance designers, print, digital marketing and production companies.
  • Manages marketing communications budget including media buys, trade shows and events, direct and digital marketing and print.
  • Conducts analyses to assess marketing program ROI and effectiveness.
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS required. MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing communications.
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies, tools and tactics across a wide range of channels including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, display advertising campaigns for lead generation/nurturing, and web analytics.
  • Expertise in corporate identity guidelines including managing graphic design.
  • Understanding of Wordpress.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
