Key Account Manager (Inside Customer Care)

Position Summary:

The KAM is responsible for selling full range of medical products to achieve financial and strategic goals. This role will be dedicated to providing exceptional service to our Tier 1 largest customers.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive revenue by:
  • Developing and managing relationships with top customer decision-makers including Doctors and Office Manager'
  • Secure and maintain existing business through superior customer support
  • Manage key accounts remotely through phone, email, text
  • Occasional travel into the field for personal face-to-face service
2. Actively manage the sales territory by:
  • Maintaining sales call data by entering into designated system (Epicor and Infusionsoft)
  • Tracking orders and communicating status
  • Proactively anticipating customer’s needs and addressing them
  • Strong understanding of the customer’s business
  • Partnering with the other  team members, Outside Sales, Managed Care, and Customer Service
Position Qualification Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • At least 5 years telemarketing selling focused on high-end clientele
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, & Outlook as well as CRM
  • Experience in managing accounts
  • Experience with customer service
  • Outside sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare and medical reimbursement is a plus
  • Demonstrated customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Crisis management skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and elicit support and cooperation from co-workers
  • Ability to deal with all employee and external business contacts while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings
